All Bruce wants is a few minutes’ peace to enjoy a quiet, relaxing bath, but events conspire against him in this wild, fast-moving romp in the best farcical tradition. His daughter, his best friend’s mistress and his mother-in-law all descend to interrupt his tranquillity and compound his frustration, as each seems to need his precious bath for themselves. Complexities and confusions abound, as missing clothes and dodgy accents trip up one character after another until it all comes to a head in a mad whirlwind of chaos. So hold on to your seats and get ready for action.
Just don’t run out of towels!

CAST OF CHARACTERS
Bruce Willits: late 40s, frustrated, uptight, quick to blow. His short temper hides a basic dissatisfaction with his lot, due to the current slump in his marriage, though he hasn’t recognised this fact.
Adele Willits: 19, pretty, typical student dress and attitudes. Bubbly and attractive, but not exactly the brightest chalkmark on the blackboard.
Trevor Timmins: mid 40s, slick, self-assured and self-obsessed. Only thinks of himself, no consideration of the effect his actions might have on others.
Alison Clarke: about 30, very attractive and shapely. Bright and strong-willed, though hiding a vulnerable side – maybe damaged, possibly divorced?
Mandy Timmins: wife of Trevor, about 40, pretty, looks after her figure – has to, knowing of her husband’s wandering eye. Why does she hang on to him? Probably loves him, but she’s not sure.
Vera Francis: Bruce’s mother-in-law, 60s, heavily built. Emotional, lonely and insecure, in need of attention and not getting any!
Julie Willits: about 40, wife of Bruce. She is aware of the growing remoteness within her marriage, but unsure of how to deal with it. Regrets previous attempts to find solace!
Carollers: extras, female – could be played by the female cast members bundled up in coats and scarves, the leader played by the actress playing Julie, as she doesn’t appear again for some time
