Overview: Journey’s End” is a powerful play set in the British trenches during World War I, focusing on the experiences of a group of officers as they face a German offensive. The play, written by R.C. Sherriff, explores themes of courage, friendship, the psychological toll of war, and the loss of innocence. The story unfolds over four days leading up to a major German attack , highlighting the tension, fear, and camaraderie within the dugout.

Lieutenant Osborne – 40 -50 – Large,
Captain Stanhope – 20s-Large,
2nd Lieutenant Raleigh -17 to early 20s-Large,
Colonel-50+ Small,
The Company Sergeant Major 30+,
Captain Hardy -any age 18+ – small,
Private Mason and 2nd Lieutenant Trotter-Any age 18+ -Medium,
2nd Lieutenant Hibbert Soldier and German soldier-any age 16+ -small.
Hardy can be doubled and possibly soldier as well.
