This ‘not the Disney’ version of this famous story tells how master Geltibran gets in to hot water when he tries to find a red rose to give to his daughter, Beauty. He is duped by pirates, accused of stealing and generally hard done to before things come right again. There are songs set to well-known children’s ditties and much skulduggery.

Cry ‘All for one and one for all,’ this winter as we join D’Artagnan and his friends Porthos, Athos and Aramis, in their quest against the scheming Cardinal Richelieu. A rip roaring, fast paced, swashbuckling show ideal for families (ages 5+). Inventive stagecraft, witty dialogue and with colourful characters from the novel, this exciting story is brimming with energy and skillful storytelling to keep audiences captivated. In his struggles to join the Musketeers, D’Artagnan must learn that life is not always simple and love never is, but with him all the way are his friends risking all for country and comradeship! There will be action and romance galore in this specially commissioned production.

Sleeping Beauty – SCAR Productions Pantomime

The Pantomime by Alan Frayn

The Pantomime season is a good time to come along to the theatre having a good evening’s entertainment. Sleeping Beauty boasts all of the characters with wicked Witch Hazel determined to ruin the day, but she is foiled by good Fairy Lilac and Prince Alexis.

Princess Rose is looked after in the castle by Nurse Dottie Dettol and Muddles the palace handyman. The Witch puts a spell upon the Princess Rose as a parting gift for not being invited to the christening, stating that she will prick her finger and die before her 16th birthday.

So come along and bee part of the Sleeping Beauty Magic help us to save Prince Rose… Oh yes you will !!!
