Playhouse Creatures – A Little Theatre Production

By April De Angelis and directed by Graham Carpenter.

Set in the year 1669, a bawdy and troublesome time.

Theatres have just reopened after seventeen years of Puritan suppression and women are allowed to appear on stage for the first time. Playhouse Creatures focuses on five of the most famous actresses of the time and provides a moving and often comic account of the precarious lives of Restoration actresses.

With many themes brought up that are still relevant today.

Thursday 15th – Saturday 17th November – 7:30pm

Tickets: £10 / £8 (Under 16 / Over 60 / Student)
